| Emily Stone, born in Lansing, Michigan, received her B.A. in Judaic Studies from the University of Michigan and her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Florida. Ms. Stone concentrates her practice on bankruptcy litigation and commercial litigation. Prior to joining Kaplan Zeena, Ms. Stone served as a Legal Fellow to the Hon. Robert A. Mark at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.
During law school, Ms. Stone served as the Symposium Editor of the University of Miami Business Law Review, and was a member of the American Inns of Court. She was a member of the Bankruptcy Assistance Clinic where she represented indigent clients filing bankruptcy. She received book awards in Alternative Dispute Resolution and the Bankruptcy Clinic.
