Jonathan Feuer is an experienced litigation attorney in Kaplan Zeena’s Miami office. Mr. Feuer practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, professional malpractice defense, construction defect litigation, and insurance coverage disputes, including extra-contractual litigation, in federal and state courts throughout Florida at both the trial and appellate levels.

Prior to joining Kaplan Zeena, Mr. Feuer practiced with a boutique litigation firm in Miami where, among other complex commercial litigation matters, he defended one of the largest hedge fund administrators in the world (and related hedge fund service providers) in a putative class action stemming from the Bernard Madoff Ponzi scheme. Mr. Feuer also has experience representing officers and directors, condominiums and homeowners associations, and public and private companies in a variety of litigation matters, including contractual disputes, breaches of fiduciary duty claims, fraud claims, employment matters, and general business torts.

A native New Yorker, Mr. Feuer received his Bachelor of Arts from Queens College, magna cum laude, and his juris doctorate, magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, Mr. Feuer was a member of the University of Miami Business Law Review. Mr. Feuer also received numerous awards throughout law school, including the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement in Legal Research and Writing, an award reserved for the top two students in the class, and made the Dean’s List multiple semesters.

Additionally, every year since 2014, Mr. Feuer has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers, a recognition awarded only to 2.5% of all lawyers in Florida under the age of 40, or who have been practicing for less than ten years.
