Matthew has practiced in various areas of the law during his more than 30 years of practicing law in Florida. Mr. Krause is admitted to practice in all Florida courts, along with the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Florida, the Middle District of Florida, and the Northern District of Florida. Additionally, Matthew is qualified to practice in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Matthew has represented both individuals and businesses during his career, with a focus on representing financial entities including banks, credit unions, commercial lenders and commercial leasing companies. Additionally, Mr. Krause has represented insurance companies in first-party and third-party claims. Matthew has litigated claims involving fraud, misrepresentation breach of contract, negligence civil theft, and has defended various types of statutory consumer protection claims asserted against his clients. Matthew, who was raised in Miami, attended the University of Florida and graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Mr. Krause graduated from Stetson University College of law in 1989 with his Juris Doctorate degree.
